FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze in Marston Hill today (July 3) after a tractor caught fire.
The service received a call to the scene at 3:33pm.
Crews from Kempston and Broughton, in Buckinghamshire, were deployed to fight the flames.
Residents of Bedford reported seeing plumes of smoke rising up from the horizon in the direction of Marston Moretaine.
A spokesman for the fire service said the fire had been extinguished by 4:30pm.
